This scholarship is for college juniors who have to apply for this scholarship in their junior year. There are two $3,000 awards given to senior college students. Applicant must be a US citizen and must be enrolled in a mechanical engineering college or a similar four-year program.

Garland Duncan Scholarship

This scholarship is highly based on the following fields-

Frank and Dorothy Miller Scholarship

Dan and Vicky Hancock Scholarship for Mechanical Engineering Excellence

Under this scholarship, one prize of $5,500 is awarded every year. The candidates to be selected must have an SAT score of 1220 or ACT score of 27, have at least a 3.5 GPA and pursue any science program. This scholarship is a bit complicated to apply for as you have to fill out a FAFSA form, two letters of recommendation, and a paper which highlights your financial need and interests. Keep in mind that students who are attending Kettering University will be preferred.

John & Elsa Gracik Scholarship

Applicants who are pursuing mechanical engineering and are US citizens will be given five awards of $5,000. They will be judged based on financial need, integrity, character, contribution to the mechanical profession, leadership, etc.
